Camp Pad Demobilisation Soil Assessment

Location: Roma, Queensland Australia

Budget: $75,000

Schedule: 2017

Client contracted SLS Environmental Pty. Ltd. (SLS) to undertake an investigation as a suitably qualified third party for a Sewage Treatment Unit (STU) irrigation area located on the Client’s property (the site) in line with Condition B10 of the Environmental Authority (EA) Permit requirement.

The objective of the soil sampling is to assess potential impact associated with the exceedance of Total N concentrations identified in the treated STU irrigation water auditing samples taken on October 10, 2017. As part of the scope of work SLS undertook field soil sampling of a temporary camp utilised for two (2) temporary Rig camps for an approximate four (4) month duration. The soil analytical data from the Project sample site were assessed against the National Environmental Protection Measure (NEPM) 1999 (Amended and in force 16 May 2013) (NEPM 1999).
