Summit is the international industry leader in the management of drilling by-product. The principle behind land-based application methods is to manage these drilling by-products allowing the soil’s natural capacity to assimilate waste in a manner that preserves soil conditions. In 2017 Summit was selected to introduce and train Saudi Aramco on land-based disposal operations. Summit is one of the largest drilling by-product management companies in Canada and Queensland.

Land based disposal options, such as LWD, provide a significant financial benefit compared to traditional disposal methods. A beneficial reuse of drilling by-product can enhance surface soil quality, is cost effective and greatly reduces the costs and hazards associated with transporting waste.
